Get Online Week 2026

Do you have medical appointments coming up or want to view test results but are struggling to use the NHS App? If so, help is available.
During Get Online Week (19 to 25 October), West Sussex County Council's Library Service will be offering special drop-in sessions, providing practical support to help residents get started with the app and access NHS services online with confidence.
Local sessions are available on:
- Tuesday 20 October, 2pm to 4pm: Selsey Library, School Lane, PO20 9EH
- Wednesday 21 October, 2pm to 4pm: Witterings Library, Oakfield Avenue, East Wittering, PO20 8BT
Please note that people who come along for support with downloading the NHS App must bring photo ID, and their NHS number if they have it.
Library staff and digital volunteers will be available at both sessions to help residents download and use the NHS App, while representatives from Independent Lives will provide additional support at the Wednesday session.
Get Online Week has been organised nationwide since 2007 by the Good Things Foundation, which reports that today in the UK, only 1 in 3 adults are described as comfortably online.
